Irked: Iain Lee was seen snapping at boxer Amir Khan for continuously taunting him on Thursday night’s episode of the ITV show and telling the star he didn’t find his teasing ‘very funny’
Following Stanley Johnson’s exit from camp, things got off to a tense start between Iain and his campmates, as they discussed the former politician’s departure.
Seeming to turn on Iain, Amir told the star that he had ‘f**ked things up’ on his late arrival into the jungle and ‘split the group up’.
He also commented on Iain’s attitude, insisting that he had ‘killed’ the group with his demanding orders as Prime Minister of camp, but growing irked by Amir’s constant teasing, Iain hit back: ‘Amir was being an a**hole, just prodding me and making all these jokes, it wasn’t funny, it made me feel uncomfortable.’
Show of support: Jenni McAlpine and Georgia Toffolo made sure to jump to Iain’s defence – winning praise from fans and calls for the trio to be in the final three
‘Don’t listen to that’: After Iain was taunted about pulling out of the camp’s latest trial, Jenni hit back saying she ‘might’ be the one to give in and leave them without food
He told the sports star that he ‘wasn’t’ finding his taunts very funny, prompting Jamie to remark: ‘If you can’t take Amir’s banter after three weeks… jog on.’
Iain then found himself subjected to further criticism during a discussion about who should take on the Deadly Departure Lounge trial, after ruling himself out as he believed it was to do with ‘heights’.
His decision appeared to cause a slight issue with Dennis, given that the duo had clashed previously over Iain putting himself forward for the trials, and ruling Iain back in, it was then decided he and Jenni would carry out the challenge.

Dennis was seen telling Iain on numerous occasions not to forfeit the trial, with Iain admitting in private: ‘I’m feeling a bit of pressure on me, Dennis has warned me not to say, “I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here,” and that’s not my intention at all.’
Amir had joined in too, prompting Jenni to tell Iain to ‘ignore’ their comments. She said: ‘Don’t listen to that,’ before joking she might say the dreaded words instead.
Iain joked: ‘Would you? That would get me out of a really sticky situation.’
Following his exit from camp, Dennis, Jamie and Amir were seen discussing Iain, with former footballer Dennis insisting he would go ‘f**king ape sh*t’ if he returned with no stars.

Harsh: Amir then claimed that he thinks Iain is ‘playing games’, prompting Toff to hit back: ‘I just can’t really see it, we’ve been in here starving and tired, I just don’t think anyone would be able to keep up a game plan’
Amir then claimed that he thinks Iain is ‘playing games’, as he vented: ‘He’s one day saying he wants to go home and wants to leave, he misses his family… then he wants to stay.
‘He wants to be the nice guy. My personality is the same all the way through. I don’t like how people change like a yo yo.’
Toff overheard the boys talking and was quick to show her support for Iain, blasting claims he could be ‘playing a game’.
She said: ‘I just can’t really see it, we’ve been in here starving and tired, I just don’t think anyone would be able to keep up a game plan.’

‘Toff to win, Iain second and Jenni third. I can’t stand the guy group that has formed in there.
‘You are so wise Toff, it’s unlikely Iain is playing a game for that long in those circumstances.
‘Hope it goes Toff, Jennie and Iain top 3, the rest I hope fall off that bridge in their way out. (sic)
‘I’m finding it harder to watch these 3 p****s that the p*** out of poor Iain… poor guy even Toff and Jennie know exactly what is going on.
‘I really hope that Jennie, Iain and Toff are final three! Jamie, Dennis and Amir are horrible to him.
‘Only two I actually like in there are Toff and Jenny. Real playground mentality with the rest of them. Need to grow up. Iain’s not the only one to have said the words after all!’
Giving it his all: Iain was forced to lick a money ticket off of a screw with his tongue while surrounded by critters
Champion effort: He was joined by Jenni who got stuck into the gruesome challenge
Meanwhile, Iain and Jenni had gone on to triumphantly succeed in the latest trial and returned with a full house of six stars for camp, winning a dinner of mud crabs for the group.
After feeling the pressure from his campmates to succeed, Iain admitted that his championing efforts had been very ‘satisfying’ and couldn’t resist hitting out at his rivals Dennis, Amir and Jamie while reflecting on his trial.
He said: ‘It was very satisfying to come back into camp and say we’d been successful that we got all six stars, it’s all about teamwork and getting food for camp,’ before making the dig: ‘Hopefully everyone will put their d**ks away now and stop measuring them but that ain’t gonna happen.’
Recognising Iain’s efforts, an elated Toff, who had previously voiced her thoughts that everybody should be entitled to taking on a trial whether they are the strongest choice or not, commented: ‘I said that the people that might not be strong will always come out… I really hope this bridges the gap that has formed.’

Dennis became the sixth celebrity to leave I’m A Celebrity on Thursday night.
Despite his interview being limited, due to timing constraints, he touched on his exchanges with Iain over the Bushtucker Trials and stuck by his claims that the ‘strongest’ campmate should be put forward as food is at stake.
‘When they come back and say they couldn’t do it and they do that twice, everyone is thinking we need to eat,’ Dennis argued. He then pointed out that the next day he had encouraged Iain to take on the next trial, despite the comedian’s hesitations at first.
Dennis explained he had wanted Iain to put himself forward, as he realised the star ‘needed the air time’. Speaking to hosts Ant and Dec, Dennis said he and Amir are both planning on returning to their same careers following the show, but others are seeking new TV ventures.
End of the road: Dennis became the sixth celebrity to leave I’m A Celebrity on Thursday night.
Defiant: Despite his interview being limited, due to timing constraints, he touched on his exchanges with Iain over the Bushtucker Trials and stuck by his claims that the ‘strongest’ campmate should be put forward as food is at stake
Having his say: Dennis explained he had wanted Iain to put himself forward after their tense exchange, as he realised the star ‘needed the air time’
Suggesting Iain needed to ‘promote’ himself during his time in camp, Dennis claimed: ‘There’s people in there that want to promote themselves and go on to do TV and other things.’
Dennis said he had ‘listened’ to Iain’s letter that he had received from his family and saw his campmate’s plight in the jungle in a different light, leading him to think instead: ‘Go and do that trial because you need the air time.’
Dennis had been accused of ‘bullying’ his fellow campmate Iain Lee by I’m A Celebrity viewers, after an altercation between the duo aired that showed Denns speaking out again Iain’s wishes to tackle a trial.
He told his co-star that he didn’t think he was the best choice for the job and he didn’t want to go without any dinner.
Under fire: Dennis found himself slammed by fans of I’m A Celebrity after clashing with Iain Lee in a heated spat about the latest Bushtucker Trial in Wednesday night’s episode
Iain had thrown his name into the ring for Tutankha-Doom, the latest challenge comprising a network of underground tunnels filled with critters.
He revealed that he was keen to take on the trial, but made sure to address Jamie Lomas’ wishes to take part too. While Stanley Johnson initiated a discussion on which campmate would be best, Dennis was quick to share his opinion.
He said: ‘My only problem – and I’ll be honest with you Iain – is that you’ve said, “Get me out of here,” twice and what I don’t want is to have no dinner.’
When a campmate utters the words, ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here,’ they can be instantly ejected from a Bushtucker Trial.
Fighting his corner, Iain pointed out that he had been triumphant in one trial and won the camp 11 stars, but Dennis pressed: ‘I get that… But twice out of the three you’ve done, you failed.’
Harsh? The former footballer, 50, spoke out against Iain’s wishes to tackle the trial and told his co-star that he didn’t think he was the best choice for the job and he didn’t want to go without any dinner
‘If you come back with nothing, everyone will be upset,’ Dennis warned.
Taking offence, Iain hit back: ‘I get it, you don’t want me to do it, I withdraw my offer, does that mean I can’t do any trials for the rest of the run then? Is that what you’re saying, because that feels a little bit unfair.’
‘Well Iain, the problem is you’ve gone a couple of times and you’ve come back with nothing, so that causes me a slight issue,’ Dennis fired back in response, before becoming irked by his campmate.
He insisted that he was entitled to his opinion and when Iain decided to retract his offer to take on the trial, an annoyed Dennis said: ‘I’m allowed that thought process so please don’t throw that back at me.
Clashing: Dennis pointed out Iain’s previous failures when it comes to the trials, with Iain hitting back that it was ‘unfair’ to suggest he couldn’t take part
Annoyed: ‘Well Iain, the problem is you’ve gone a couple of times and you’ve come back with nothing, so that causes me a slight issue,’ Dennis fired back in response, before becoming irked by his campmate.
‘Don’t try and make me look bad, don’t play a game with me… I’m telling you now don’t play a game with me.’
In the Bush Telegraph, Iain admitted he had felt ‘humiliated’ by Dennis for bringing up his past failures, while Dennis insisted: ‘Nothing would please me more for Iain to come back with loads of stars, but you don’t want to come back with nothing.’
Instead, Jamie was voted in to take on the trial and went on to win 6 out of 7 stars for camp. He agreed that Iain would have ‘struggled’ with the challenge and told the comedian: ‘It would have been a tough one for you.’
While Iain and Dennis managed to make amends following their spat, both were seen seen reflecting on the altercation later in the episode.
Tense: Iain admitted he had felt ‘humiliated’ by Dennis and retracting his offer to do the challenge, Dennis then claimed Iain was ‘making him look bad’ – he said: ‘Don’t try and make me look bad, don’t play a game with me… I’m telling you now don’t play a game with me’
Reflective: As Jamie got picked for the trial instead, Dennis reflected on his war of words with Iain and claimed he hadn’t tried to be ‘malicious’ or ‘rude’
Awkward: However, the sports star was called out by fans for targeting Iain yet again, with many accusing Dennis of being ‘nasty’ and ‘bullying’ his campmate
While Iain confessed: ‘I’m so not an alpha male or laddy lad, but I want people to like me,’ Dennis told Amir Khan: ‘I just felt he was trying to make me feel bad, I didn’t want to be rude.
‘Maybe it came across in the wrong manner, I tried not to be rude about it, it was nothing malicious or nasty, I just said what I thought.’
However, he was called out by fans for targeting Iain yet again, with many accusing Dennis of being ‘nasty’ to his campmate. They penned: ‘Dennis needs to go he is being unnecessarily nasty to Iain.
‘Dennis moans and complains a lot, stop picking on Iain when he’s not in the wrong fs.
Better man for the job? Jamie Lomas was voted in to take on the trial and went on to win 6 out of 7 stars for camp
Supporting Dennis: Jamie returned to camp and insisted they had made the right call picking him – he told Iain: ‘It would have been a tough one for you’
‘This is not in any way fair at all. The producers should step in #ImACelebrity
‘”Don’t cut people down Iain” ok Dennis so it’s fine for you Jamie and Amir to be absolute a**holes to him but he can’t stick up for himself? Disgraceful.
‘You don’t need Iain to make you look bad Dennis you’re doing quite well on your own!
‘Bless Iain he has done literally nothing wrong, can’t grown adults just be kind to him?
‘Dennis. Can he not hear himself, making someone feel small and then turn it round like he’s getting spoken down to.’
Others, however, were quick to jump to Dennis’ defence and suggested they would have done the same in his situation, given that it could have resulted in no food for camp.
‘Dennis needs to go’: The spat caused a huge backlash from viewers who were quick to criticise Dennis for his comments

Viewers tweeted: ‘Arghrrr Iain is is a nightmare to be around. Well done @denniswise for trying to get his point across.
‘Oh and here are the bullying comments again. When people don’t get on with each other it doesn’t mean the weaker one is being bullied!
‘Tbf I wouldn’t want him to do the trials either if my dinner depended on it… the rice and beans look vile.’
Dennis’ clash with Iain comes after he found himself being accused of ‘bullying’ the star by viewers. He, Amir and Jamie came under fire following a conversation they’d had on Tuesday, where they spoke away from camp about Dennis’ latest Bushtucker Trial that Iain had previously struggled with.
The former footballer accused Iain of embellishing about the difficulty of the challenge, but the comments made left viewers at home feeling ‘uncomfortable’ and many were quick to call out the trio for singling out Iain.

Prior to completing his trial, Dennis had spoken with Iain about the challenge that he had previously endured, with his campmate giving the sports star the heads up about what it entails.
However, on his triumphant return back to camp with all eight stars, Dennis told pals Amir and Jamie that it wasn’t as bad as Iain had made it out to be. He said: ‘They gave me 10 minutes and I did it in five… there’s no way it was 3 metres deep, it was 1.5.’
‘So it wasn’t 3 metres then?’ Jamie asked in response, with Dennis insisting it hadn’t been.
Amir was then seen telling the camera: ‘It sounds like Iain has a lot of problems.’ He had previously been criticised by viewers for putting all the blame on Iain for strawberry-gate.

‘It’s not right’: Viewers felt strongly on Twitter that Iain was being subjected to ‘bullying’ behaviour from his fellow campmates
‘Iain is being BULLIED in that camp by Amir, Jamie and Dennis. you can see his face is sad, he’s not playing any games, they are. he’s being pushed out of the main group because he’s not like them and it’s not right. I feel sorry for him. they’re ruining his experience.
‘Although Iain can be annoying I don’t like the way that Amir,Dennis and even Jamie talk about him sometime. Feels like they think they are better or superior to him. Just because they may be considered more “manly” #ImACeleb.
‘Very quickly gone off Dennis, Jamie and Amir. Who gives a f**k how deep it is!? Iain was just trying to give you a heads up and you talk behind his back like that? You bunch of c***s. Iain or Toff to win!!
